NXT Pathway CIC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults. We believe everyone has the right to feel safe, respected and supported when taking part in our programmes.

Safeguarding is embedded in our planning, delivery and partnership working, and we take our responsibilities seriously.

• Protecting children, young people and adults from harm, abuse or neglect

• Acting promptly and appropriately on any safeguarding concerns

SAFEGUARDING IN PRACTICE

Our safeguarding arrangements include:

• Clear safeguarding and child protection policies

• Staff and facilitators who are appropriately trained

• DBS checks carried out where required for roles

• Safe recruitment and onboarding processes

• Clear procedures for reporting and responding to concerns

• Risk assessments in place for all activities and venues

We work closely with schools, community venues and partners to ensure safeguarding arrangements are clear and appropriate for each programme.
